Sponsors of the Wiltshire Business Awards
As winners of the 2016 Small Business of the Year category, we were delighted to be asked to sponsor and judge the 2017 awards.
Whilst we were asked for financial support to this event, we also supported the event by designing and providing the materials for the actual event itself, from the invites to programmes and a host of other materials between.
The award we were judging was Creative Marketing Awareness Award.
This category rewarded the business that has been the most effective in communicating with their target audience, through the use of a creative marketing campaign (including internal marketing/ creative/ digital teams)
The judges will be looking for the business that could demonstrate a project or piece of work produced that had a big (measurable) impact on either theirs or their client’s business or the product and the audience at which it was aimed.
We looked for inspirational examples of marketing innovation, technological robustness and creative originality in any project undertaken within the last 12 months. provided detailed examples of their work that demonstrated the extent of their creative thinking and marketing expertise while showcasing how they had achieved the main objectives of the original brief and specification. They also needed to provide detailed information on the performance of the project to the business/client and the intended audience.
In order to give a fair and responsible judgement, we were required to visit each business shortlisted from the original entries.
We were delighted to be part of this exciting event and delighted in meeting so many great businesses along the way.
Proud Sponsors of Max Cook – Aprillia Superteen Champion 2016
As newly-crowned Aprilia Superteen Champion, we are very proud sponsors to Max Cook who is riding in this year’s British Motostar Championship.
Max never disappoints and consistently proves to us that he’s a champion worth backing!
We are providing Max with an ‘all new’ content managed web site to reflect Max in a professional manner that keeps fans updated and hopefully attract potential new sponsors.
We have also provided Max with marketing materials such as sponsorship brochures, posters and most importantly, sponsors logos in the form of bike stickers!
We will continue to support Max as a local Swindon lad, as giving back to the community is very important to us all at C3.
Supporters of Friends of Huck
The charity was set up by Mark and Emma Hucklebridge to help individual sports people who sadly suffer with life changing illness or injuries.
Mark was a British schoolboy champion, winner of the Coupe de l’Avenir, Weston Beach Race, British Supercross Championship, KWS Championship and won several British Championship races. In 2003 Mark finished 18th in the world and third overall in the British championship that year.
In 2010 Mark was diagnosed with bowel cancer. As well as fighting his own health battles, he was instrumental in setting up the Friends of Huck charity, set up to raise money for cancer charities including the Bath RUH hospital and seriously ill or injured motorcycle riders.
Mark sadly lost his own battle in March 2017 but his memory will live on through this very worthy charity.

Protecting a piece of football history – Fred Marsden, from 1934-1948
Sharon Hicks, Director of C3 Marketing, happened across a scrap book that her father had loaned the book to a colleague some years before.
The collection of press cuttings was so old that they had become very delicate and she felt that they should be preserved for future generations of her family and for anybody else who may be interested in football history.
Our in-house graphic department painstakingly photographed each and every article and images, before collating them into a beautiful book. We reproduced the pages as closely to the originals as possible, complete with rough edges!
The book was dedicated to Terry Marsden, Sharon’s father, without whom the collection would probably have been lost forever.
We have commissioned only 6 printed copies of which one was donated to Bournemouth Football Club to feature in their archived library.

Sponsors to Stratton St Margaret Parish Festival
Stratton Festival brings the community together and celebrates the talent that we have in our local business area.
We were delighted to be the main sponsors for this annual event and in doing so, helped them raise money on behalf of CALM, Swindon’s local cancer charity who work with families affected by cancer and leukaemia.
This event is close to our hearts as we enjoy our working partnership with all the team at Stratton St Margaret Parish Council and Grange Leisure.
