C3 Marketing is a full service agency, delivering exceptional service and attention to detail in all we do.
Who we are.
We are an award winning, multi-disciplined creative design and manufacturing business based in Swindon.
With a dedicated team of professionals bringing a wealth of experience to the table, we can adapt to any business requirement you may have.
Not only do we have a studio of talented designers but also have a factory with the ability to manufacture and produce signage, exhibition materials, vehicle graphics and wraps, point of sale materials and clothing.
We always encourage new and existing customers to visit our premises to get a full understanding and feel for what we can do and how we add value to their business over a myriad of services and products.
What we do.
We assist local and national companies to promote their products, business or services and identify marketing opportunities to deliver individual requirements.
We target audiences by linking creative thinking alongside design, print, and in house manufacturing.
To put it simply, we help your business grow through clever, targeted, and effective marketing.
Winning the Wiltshire Business of the Year Award.
Having been familiar with the Wiltshire Business Awards for many years, we finally took the decision to enter in 2016 because we felt that we had grown C3 Marketing to a level whereby we thought we had as good a chance of winning as any other company entering, of winning this fabulous award!
As the journey progressed we felt from our interaction with judges and sponsors that this was a prestigious event and we recognised that we needed to apply substantial effort to our entry because the standard was so high. Having had no previous experience of entering any award, we decided to approach it like any other business project – by applying the maximum effort and attention to detail, and be factually accurate and honest in our application, leaving no detail out.
We spoke to other people and companies who had entered in previous years and asked their experience. Without exception, they all said it was hard work. This simply reinforced our desire to apply, and to win!
We wanted to be different in our application and make C3 Marketing stand out, because of the nature of our business; we had to be creative. We put together a short video of client testimonials. After all, only our clients could give a truly independent view of our business.
This process made us look critically at our own performance and identified areas in which we felt that we could improve and continue to grow.
This process was worthwhile and we would encourage any other business to do the same.
The “Meet the judges” event was an excellent opportunity to come face to face with the judges and put faces to names.
When the judges visited our company we felt scrutinised, but also incredibly proud of the comments and feedback we received. We thought it would be like Dragons Den, but actually, the judges listened to us, and we felt like they really engaged with us.
Based on what we felt was a very strong entry, we were confident that we had the ability to do well, and we were immensely proud to be announced as the winners of the most entered category, and to be the first company in the history of the awards to enter for the first time, and win. The awards evening felt like a premium event.

MEET THE TEAM
Since its beginning, Julian has always been involved in C3 Marketing, firstly as Alison’s Husband and secondly as the Company Secretary. After a career of over 30 years in car dealerships, representing BMW, MINI, Ferrari and many more leading brands, Julian traded his BMW and MINI Head of Business position to join C3 Marketing as Managing Director. Julian says, “I have always been immensely proud of what Ali, Sharon and the team have achieved within C3 Marketing and I am looking forward to helping in its continued growth and achievements. Customer Service has always been at the heart of my work ethic and this fits very well within C3 Marketing. Our goals are always based on what we can achieve for our customers. When not at work Julian’s main passion is riding motorcycles of most varieties and with a passion for adventure can also be found on the ski slopes during the winter months.
Having worked in the print and marketing industry for over 30+ years, gaining 10 years’ experience as a Print Production Manager, a Sales Manager and finally a Sales Director for a large print group in the South West, Alison aspired to set up her own company, whose ethos would be totally customer focussed with a desire to meet and exceed client expectations. With these high expectations and a hawk-like eye for detail, Alison ensures that nothing but perfection leaves the C3 doors. In the outside world Alison loves to shake things up with a bit of off-road motorcycling and aspires to be the next Travis Pastrana.
With 30+ years’ experience in design and manufacturing for the sign industry, Sharon’s skill sets and working ethos formed a great synergy with C3, making the process of offering these extra services to C3’s client base seamless. Since 2008 Sharon has worked in equal partnership with Alison, kind of like Ben & Jerry’s, but instead of making delicious ice cream they give businesses a voice and image to be proud of. When Sharon’s not on the ski slopes she turns her attention to her pedigree poodles who are in regular attendance at C3, keeping an eye on us all, making sure we are keeping up the ‘standards’!
Graduating from Newcastle University in Marketing and Management, Josh joined the C3 team as a Marketing Executive; supporting and reporting to Sharon, Ali and Julian, Directors of C3 Marketing. Josh looks to convert on his fresh theoretical knowledge, to real world application in marketing, with the help of C3 Marketing’s industry experience, Josh looks forward to developing an exciting career. Outside of work, Josh leads a very active lifestyle playing a variety of sports; Rugby in the winter months and golf during the finer weather throughout the Summer. Whilst a keen gym goer Josh doesn’t shy away from a few causal drinks in his leisure time!
Senior Web Developer
After graduating from a degree in Multimedia Computing back in 2008, Julian found his passion in all things web – he particularly enjoys the satisfaction of problem solving and learning new technologies in order to keep up with the ever-changing digital age. After initially setting up as a freelance Web Developer (with C3 being one of his first clients), he then went on to build his own successful web design agency, and after many years working alongside C3 on countless successful projects, decided it made more sense to merge the two companies and officially join the C3 team. When he’s not coding the matrix (as the rest of the team see it) or providing a free “Dad Taxi” service to his 4 daughters, he can easily be tempted to venture outside and get some exercise with the promise of catching virtual Pokémon that don’t actually exist!
Liz provides business management support and the ever important accounting necessities needed in a successful business. Liz plays an integral part at C3 keeping a close eye on our accounts, as well as juggling being a mum of two and also sitting on the fundraising committee for her children’s school. In the little spare time Liz has, her amazing musical talent is played out in singing and has enjoyed involvement in many amateur musical theatre productions; most notably taking the leading role in Oklahoma at the Bristol Hippodrome. Liz’s other loves are spending time with family and friends, goings to concerts, comedy shows and the theatre.
Senior Graphic Designer
As a degree graduate in illustration and having been a middle-weight graphic designer for several years he has put his hands to all forms of design from illustrated books, adverts, brochures, website, signage to exhibition stands, logo design and brand development. With a keen work ethic and driven personality he has taken these traits and adapted them to his passion of field archery where he is out most weekends competing in local and national events. Just like our very own Robin Hood but without the green tights.
Having studied in Art and Design for two years, gaining a diploma and moving onto a graphic design apprenticeship, Megan is now fully qualified as a graphic designer. She is a great addition to the C3 team and is looking forward to using her skills in a more varied design and marketing arena. When Megan isn’t designing, she can be found tending to her Lionhead rabbits who, when it gets cold, become house pets and get the freedom to roam her home!
After graduating from a degree in illustration, Mitch has worked as an in-house graphic designer for several years, creating bespoke brochures, apps, adverts and more. He has been part of a successful digital marketing team and is keen to use his experiences in C3. Originally from a farming background, Mitch swapped the crook for a pencil early in life, although can still round up a bunch of sheep when needed!
A Professional Printer Operator, Finisher & Graphics Fitter with over 10 years’ experience in different areas of the printing industry. Doug has in-depth practical knowledge of an extensive range of production and installation techniques, and with a specialisation in vehicle wrapping. Practical and logical, highly computer literate, and familiar with various types of production machinery and related control applications, Doug is an absolute asset to C3. With a passion for motor bikes and travel, this man will go far! (And will hopefully keep coming back)!
Nasco is a highly skilled and hands on sign technician, with the ability to see projects through from the design process to production and installation. He has over 20 years experience in the print and sign production industry whilst running his own business in Bulgaria, combined with his continued work after moving to England 5 years ago. Specialising in print operation and large format processing, he is a great fit to the team. In his leisure time, Nasco enjoys spending time playing tennis (on the court or table) and being with his two children and wife, being every part a great family man.
Itzapromise Silver Moon and Itzapromise Diamond Dogz - Alias Cally and Fenton.
Cally and Fenton are our resident Standard Poodles and can often be found in the office under whoever’s chair they deem to have the most interesting lunch that day. Cally joined in 2010 and is our meet and greet, whether our visitors like it or not. Fenton arrived in 2016 and follows in Cally’s shadow, just more clumsily. They spend their days in the office looking out of the window in case a squirrel appears, but will also join in with any meeting by sitting on the sofas and trying to lick whoever sits next to them. Together they form a formidable team as C3 security and earn their keep in treats. They can be easily distracted by absolutely anything but bring lots of smiles with them.
Forever part of the team 1980-2018
Having started his career within the sign industry straight from school, Matt developed great skills in all things signage and tool based. After a career change to construction where he continued to progress his practical skills, Matt then returned to the sign and graphics industry through his role at C3 and supported Doug in production to make sure that all the great things we design are brought to life through digital print and signage. Matt was focused on getting the job done to the highest possible standard to ensure client satisfaction, every time. With his cheeky grin and questionable haircut we were proud to have him as part of Team C3. Matt says “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he’ll stop pinching mine”. Wise words indeed. He will be greatly missed by all here at C3.
